The owner of Saltadena Bakery & Cake Shop approached me in 2019 after securing her first storefront location. Until then her operation had been home-based. We worked on crafting a brand identity with enough personality, warmth and fun to match that of the proprietor, Nancy Deriemacker. Her famous Lil’ Scrappies needed labeling as well. I created a library of multi-colored labels that complement the delicious treats they advertise. We also took advantage of what started as a joke, and printed cake puns on things.
